Christians have been practicing Spiritual Direction for centuries. This ancient rhythm flows out of the New Testament call to become more like Christ by listening deeply to the Holy Spirit. In Spiritual Direction, the Director journeys alongside the Directee to notice with them the movements of the Spirit in their life.
Spiritual Direction is a slow and mysterious process that invites the whole person into a space of noticing, discernment, and discovery. Each person is unique and brings their own ways of knowing and understanding God into Spiritual Direction, so the process is dynamic. I am committed to modeling spiritual hospitality and gracious space to my clients.

During our first session, I will invite you to share some of your spiritual story as well as what questions, longings or curiosities bring you to this space. From there, sessions will include but not be limited to silent listening, invitational questions and following the threads that the Spirit draws out for us. I believe that the Holy Spirit hosts us as we listen together for each next step.
When I was introduced to Spiritual Direction in 2015, my relationship with God shifted into a new season filled with more freedom, space for curiosity, and a deep sense of being loved by my Creator. I experience Spiritual Direction as an integral part of my life in Christ and it is my joy to extend the same invitation to others in my practice.

Most of my clients schedule monthly as part of their regular spiritual rhythms, however some see me seasonally during a time of discernment, and others occasionally. Unlike coaching, we do not make a plan or set goals, so we are free to follow the Spirit’s leading.

Sessions cost $75 for 55 minutes. If you have a financial need, I am happy to work with you on a sliding scale.

Most of my sessions are virtual, via Zoom. If you live in or near Spokane, WA, you are welcome to choose a session with me in my home office or online.
